Placement test
To make sure that your Spanish language program is of the highest level there will be a written test in order to assess your knowledge of Spanish, after which the director of studies will conduct a 30 minute oral Spanish level test so as to be certain about your level of spoken Spanish.

Course duration
Each of our Spanish courses in Argentina begins on Monday in every week. The minimum period for a group course is one week. However, we recommend that you take a minimum of 2 weeks so that you give yourself time to appreciate the advances you make in the language. The average length of a course is between 4 and 6 weeks.

Spanish class size
Spanish classes are structured in such a way that there can be no more than 5 students in each one. This helps to greatly accelerate daily progress and learning of the Spanish language, since it allows the teachers to effectively monitor each student, giving assistance where the student needs it most.

Certificates
At the end of your course you have the opportunity to take a final exam so that you can see the progress you have made and you will be presented with a certificate of the corresponding level and a progress report from your teacher which will outline your development in the course and the steps you can take in order to improve further. Student personal information, length of the course, level of spanish and the number of hours you were present in class will be included in our Certificate.

Teachers
Our Spanish teachers are all Argentineans and university graduates. They all have at least 3 years' experience of teaching Spanish as a second language. One can note very quickly that not only can they teach but they possess a vast cultural knowledge in many areas - politics, literature, social issues, economics etc.

Extra-curricular activities
Aside from the Spanish classes at Espanex, throughout the week, we organize social and cultural immersion activities such as:

Visits to museums, the crafts market, the botanic gardens and the zoo
Dining in restaurants that offer typical Argentine food
Showings of Argentinean films
Outdoor activities
Trips to the theatre or cinema
Tango and salsa dance class
Parties (birthdays, customs, goodbye)

These activities are published week by week so that you can participate in them and get to know other young people from Argentina and other parts of the world.
