 Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA)

This museum holds more than 200 pieces of art from the private collection of the Argentine businessman Eduardo Constantini considered to be one of the most important collections in the world. Creations from talented national and international artists such as Antonio Berni, Diego Rivero, Frida Khalo, Fernando Botero, Diego Rivera, Xul Solar, Emilio Pettoruti, Guillermo Kuitca, Cándido Portinari, Antonio Seguí, Wilfredo Lam y Tarsila do Amaral, are found here.

 Japanese Garden

This charming garden, constructed considering the Japanese landscape spirit, was donated by the Japanese Association in Argentina to Buenos Aires city in 1979. The beauty of this spot combines tidy gardens with ponds and the typical characteristics of the Japanese architecture.
The varied vegetable species, its lakes exuberantly filled with colourful carp fish, the winding wooden bridges that join the different islets and the tea house where oriental crafts expositions are held, offer a very attractive show to visitors.

 Botanic Garden

This park was designed by French landscape designer Carlos Thays in 1898 and it has been declared a historical monument.
They are seven green hectares in the middle of the city, with around seven thousand botanical species perfectly maintained and nursed. The most varied flora of the different continents is shown in the different areas that make up this garden. Worth visiting sculptures, such as La Primavera" u "Ondina de Plata", "Loba Romana", "Mercurio" and the "Venus" are found here.

 Palermo Viejo - Hollywood - Soho

Es la parte más antigua del barrio de Palermo, fue el reducto de malevos y compadritos, grandes poetas de la talla de Jorge Luis Borges, como así también refugio del tango de aquellos tiempos.
Los establecimientos gastronómicos se destacan por sus diferentes estilos, desde los platos más comunes a los más excéntricos. Se ofrece cocina internacional, mediterránea, de autor, bares de tapas españolas e italianas, sushi bar, cocina mexicana y étnica, entre otras. En la madrugada en muchos lugares las cenas culminan en bailes, y en otros a la hora del Happy Hour se ofrecen tragos para dos al precio de uno.

 Museum of the Regiment of Horse Grenadiers General San Martín

One of the most important relics that the museum bears is the temple where the curved sable that belonged to General San Martín is kept and guarded. He was the creator of the well known Regiment of Horse Grenadiers. Paintings of the beginning of the XIX century, uniforms, guns, antique photographs among other invaluable pieces can be appreciated here.
General José de San Martín carried out a brave deed which was crossing the Andes ridge with his army to free Chile from the Spanish forces, assuring in this way definite independence for the southern country. This is considered one of the best strategic strikes of the American emancipation campaign.

 The Planetarium

The Planetarium or Galileo Galilei Observatory was built in 1966 by the architect Enrique Jan and opened to the public the following year in the area known as the Palermo Gardens. Its twenty meter round dome is covered in aluminum and allows the scaled projection of images of the firmament and its related phenomena.
At the entrance near the bridge that crosses the water mirror, is found a metallic meteorite of one ton approximately. It was found in the province of the Chaco in the north of Argentina.

 The Obelisco

The Obelisco was built in 1936. The 67mtrs height structure, with a straight staircase of 202 steps, was made to commemorate the fourth centennial of the first foundation of Buenos Aires in 1536. It is placed where; the National Flag created by Manuel Belgrano flamed for the first time in the city.
It is located on one of the widest avenues in the world, 9 de Julio Ave., which is 140 meters wide and commemorates the independence of our country in 1816.

 Plaza de Mayo

Since 1803 the area around the square suffered changes until 1884 when it was finally located and given the current name.
This site is surrounded by the Pink House and the Seat of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, buildings belonging to the endings of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX century.
The Cabildo and the Pyramid of May (Pirámide de Mayo) belong to the colonial period as well as the interior of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

 Cabildo

The Cabildo in Buenos Aires was built in a very precarious way in 1610 and was later rebuilt into a two stories construction with balcony and a tower; apart from the capitulary room, a chapel, offices for judges and prisoner barracks in 1725. This building undoubtedly, has the early Argentinean politics embedded.
It was the Government seat during the colonial times and was modified along the years. In 1993 an important restoration work began to recover part of the original shape and structure. At present it is the museum that evokes the May Revolution and the English Invasions of 1806 and 1807.

 Congreso Nacional

Su construcción data del año 1906, en su exterior se destaca la gran cúpula, que alcanza los 65 metros de altura y que corona el edificio.
Por su imponencia y dimensiones es una de las más importantes en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Su altura es justificada porque representa el poder, y su diseño es puramente de origen francés. También se destacan las esculturas ubicadas en la parte exterior externa que simbolizan los Poderes del Estado y la cuádriga que representa a la República. En el edificio sesionan la Cámara de senadores y la Cámara de diputados, representantes del Poder Legislativo.

 Caminito

Es una de las áreas más visitadas del barrio de La Boca. Las paredes de las casas ubicadas sobre Caminito están pintadas de múltiples y brillantes colores, y en ella, numerosos artistas y artesanos exponen sus pinturas, esculturas, murales, ceramicas y distintos tipos de artesanías.
De apenas 100 metros de longitud y convertida en peatonal, es una calle tan pequeña como particular. En ella no hay puertas, tan sólo algunas ventanas o algún balcón lleno de plantas y de ropas colgadas para secar.

 Puerto Madero

Este puerto, inaugurado en el año 1887, fue proyectado para cubrir las necesidades de exportación en buques de ultramar. No obstante, el intenso movimiento comercial superó ampliamente su capacidad y finalmente quedó utilizado para tráfico fluvial, constituyéndose en el conocido Puerto Nuevo.
En la actualidad, sus cuatro diques, están ocupados por aproximadamente dieciséis docks o edificios que poseen restaurantes de primer nivel gastronómico, oficinas de todo tipo, viviendas y hasta ocho salas de cine, y también discotecas dentro de conocidos complejos gastronómicos como Divino Buenos Ayres y Asia de Cuba.
