Moreover, by means of an assisting program, it helps to protect the flora and the fauna of the Patagonian Forests.
This type of work allows the needy to receive the help government can not provide. In this way hundreds of organizations facilitate the operation of this program by means of raising funds or humanitarian aid.

| Volunteer abroad in Cordoba: Assistance to Children |
| It gives love and comfort from 0 to 5 year old children who due to ill treatment, abuse or abandonment have been removed from their homes. These fundamental issues are essential for their physical, psychological and spiritual development until Justice determines if they can return with their parents or if they are given on adoption. At present this organization provides these children with a home with a feminine character that complies with the role of a foster mother, in a specially prepared place designed to cover all their needs. |

| This is an Argentinean ONG that is very active in the field of education, health, and fighting extreme poverty. The association organizes educational and cultural activities which are promoted by word of mouth and chains of friends and contacts in poor neighbourhoods. It brings support to children and teenagers for their early education, they have succeeded very often on bringing them back to school. Also there is a project to start with a home for the poor elderly of the area. |

| This is a Residence for the elderly and other adult people who are homeless and have no means neither help from the state, families, etc. The Home was founded on 1977 and it has survived thanks to the aid of many volunteers. There are currently 12 people living in the house and they have no relatives who can help or take care of them. The purpose of the Home and his volunteers is to provide them with a safe and worthy home. |

| Volunteer abroad in Cordoba: Child Care / Assistance to Disabled Children |
| This is a private, non-profit, Child Care Center aimed to help orphan, disadvantaged and disabled children living in Cordoba and the suburbs. With more than 40 years existence it is divided in 7 different buildings or so-called 'Casas', it has capacity for 300 children. They are assisted by a staff of more than 30 people including the director, administrative officers, social workers, physicians, neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and volunteers for other remaining tasks. Anyway, the center lacks many things for the treatment of the children especially in the area of psychiatry and neurology. |

Schools accepting volunteers are located in the needy parts of Bariloche. Each volunteer candidate will be interviewed by the school. Your task will be appointed according to your background, wishes and opportunities available.
You will help English teachers for basic level English students. Students are at secondary school, there are both teenagers and adults. You can choose to help during the lessons or after classes as tutors as well.

In the streets of Bariloche you can see many dogs and cats abandoned. Volunteers can build dog/cats houses, look after the animals, play with dogs and cats. At this moment we have 34 cats and 25 dogs under our care. We provide veterinary treatment for sick and injured cats/dogs.

The house owner, Gloria opened it in 1996. It feeds almost 70 kids from the neighborhood. This dining room is open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays providing the families with meals to take home. The rest of the days it offers a cup of milk. They need: meat, eggs and vegetables.
